Heavy duty gimbal does not mean heavy-duty gimbal. Heavy duty gimbal refers to gimbal with large weight, volume, and high power consumption, while heavy-duty gimbal refers to gimbal with strong load-bearing capacity. Heavy duty gimbal does not necessarily have strong load-bearing capacity, and heavy-duty gimbal does not necessarily have large weight, volume, or high power consumption. The heavier the gimbal, the better. On the contrary, it can also bring the following disadvantages:

1. High installation cost

Due to the general outdoor environment, the gimbal is too heavy for transportation and even requires lifting during installation, which increases manpower and installation costs.

2. High maintenance costs

When the gimbal malfunctions and requires maintenance, more manpower and resources are needed to disassemble or even return it to the factory, greatly increasing maintenance costs.

3. High power consumption

Due to the large weight of the gimbal itself, it requires more power to drive, and solar power is generally used in the wild, which increases the construction cost.

4. Large shaking

The gimbal is usually installed at the top of the tower. In the event of natural disasters such as strong winds or earthquakes, due to its large mass, it is prone to center of gravity deviation, significant shaking, and reduced stability.

Based on the above drawbacks, it can be concluded that heavy-duty gimbals have more advantages than heavy-duty gimbals. While retaining the strong load-bearing capacity of heavy-duty gimbals, heavy-duty gimbals have lower power consumption, smaller size, and simpler installation. The maximum load-bearing capacity of the "Forest Guardian" series heavy-duty gimbal from Haipu is not less than 50kg, and the product weighs only 24kg, greatly reducing the cost of manpower and material resources in the field.
