A gimbal camera is a camera with a gimbal. It is equipped with a device that supports the camera to rotate in both horizontal and vertical directions. Installing the camera on a gimbal allows it to capture images from multiple angles. The gimbal is equipped with two electric motors. The angle of horizontal and vertical rotation can be adjusted through limit switches. It is divided into indoor gimbal and outdoor gimbal. Whether it's the use of conference rooms, course recordings, hospitals, or truly playing the role of a single machine in EFP multi machine assignments.
1、 Meeting room.
The purpose of conference filming is nothing more than to record meetings or have remote video conversations. If the cameraman and camera are on site, it may cause inconvenience and trouble for important meetings. Therefore, almost all conference room filming is done using pan tilt cameras, and the content of the meeting is controlled by the auxiliary control room, which not only does not affect the meeting but also records the meeting video.
The filming application in a conference room usually includes every corner of the entire conference, even close-up shots of the speaker. Therefore, it is combined with the application of an environmental control system to synchronize audio and video tracking. When the speaker presses the microphone to speak, the environmental control system will receive instructions from the microphone and send a message to the pan tilt camera to shoot the speaker's video up close. After the end, it will return to the environment of the entire venue. This is the most basic design of a conference system.
2、 Course recording.
The use of PTZ cameras to record courses originated from the emergence of information classrooms. In the early days, schools usually set up 1-2 information classrooms on campus to record the teaching situation in the classroom for special courses. Later, the recording of teachers' lectures in class was gradually extended, integrating the content, narration, and teaching materials of teachers' lectures. Therefore, non information classrooms also install a PTZ camera at the back of the classroom to directly capture teachers' lectures in front of the blackboard and record them on the school's VOD system for students to review.
Because the classroom needs to include the interaction between teachers and students, making the recording of teacher courses more complete, several PTZ cameras will be added to track the interaction between students' speeches and teachers in the classroom, extending the classroom system architecture of remote control cameras and automatic tracking cameras, making the classroom recording effect more in line with the actual effect.
3、 EFP multi machine operation.
If it is to be applied to EFP multi machine operations, unless there is a shortage of manpower, a pan tilt camera will be used for one machine position. Otherwise, it is a special camera position that will use a pan tilt camera to play the role of one machine position and supplement the on-site video recording.
1. Camera on stage
Of course, there cannot be a cameraman carrying a camera on the performance stage, so using a pan tilt camera at the corner of the stage and setting an easy to compose position can allow the director to easily capture special video shots on stage during EFP work, filling the gap in the video.
For example, in a concert performance, it is necessary to capture special shots of each instrument, and the cameraman cannot go inside the orchestra to shoot. Therefore, a pan tilt camera is installed in the orchestra and the close-up shots of each instrument are set. The director can then capture independent instrument performances according to the script of the performance.
2. Special character filming
The shooting of special characters is also a difficult position for photographers to directly shoot, such as the officer lens in the first row of seats. Unless the cameraman runs to the front of the guests to shoot directly, it is difficult to obtain the image at any time, especially during an event where the cameraman cannot always run to the front of the guests to shoot, watch videos, or listen to speeches... and other ongoing activities. The best way is to install a pan tilt zoom camera in front of the guests and set up the composition of each guest. When needed, the pan tilt zoom camera can be remotely controlled to capture the guest's image, making it easy and easy to grasp the camera positions of each guest at any time, complementing the EFP multi camera operation.
